Putri Cave, Jlamprong Cave and Kalisuci

Finally in this lebaran holiday I have something interesting. My dad asked the children (including me, sammy, lia and alfin) to pick up Iyem (our maid) in her village Wonosari. My dad promised to drive us to the beautiful cave where we can swim through the tunnels. We go there by Xenia.

First we drove our oldest sister (Frika) and her daughter to their home (Salatiga).

After that we went directly to Wonosari.
Iyem's home is wide enough. She has a cow, a goat and some chickens. There are mete tree and giant sansivera.

Then, Iyem's nephew (Supri) asked us to visit some cave near their home.
The 1st cave we visited is Jlamprong Cave. Jlamprong means little tiger. It is named like that because there are tigers there which usually go out at night or if people annoyed their home inside the cave. Supri leaded our trip. Before we entered to the cave he said permission to the "tutelary spirit". So, there wouldn't be something happen when we entered there. The cave is under the land. We have to go down carefully. There is a big tree in that cave. The villagers give a white cloth around the tree. I saw a ritual offerings under the tree. Supri said we can go down again and take the water but, it is forbidden for woman. Only men are allow to go down. It is because the cave is so sacred. My mom and I smelled a fragrant aroma in that place.
Iyem has ever told us before that if there is a bad man died in Jumat Kliwon the tiger will dig and eat the corpse. To handle that the relatives of the dead man should watch over in the tomb for 7 days 7 night.

The 2nd cave is Putri Cave. It is named like that because the "tutelary spirit" there is a woman who often sing in the Javanese traditional ceremony (Sinden). The cave is more down to earth. My parents and Lia gave up. They waited us in the car.
Here, my father smelled fragrant aroma like flower aroma. This cave is damp. We also saw and felt the dropping water from the ceiling. We heard bats voice. My brother, Alfin went down to the water source. He washed his face with that water. He said the water is cold and fresh. I and Sammy didn't go down to the water source because the place is slippery. Supri asked me to go down to the bigger water source if we go deeper the depth is about 2 meters and the deepest source is 200 meters. I only saw the front source. The place is so dark. I couldn't see anything. I didn't bring my flashlight.
After that we went up. I asked Supri "Is it true that there is a dragon who lives there?" spontaneously Supri said " Don't asked about dragon in this place it is forbidden, because the dragon is an evil spirit."
In the car Supri told us," if you have spiritual power there are a lot of snakes there and the dragon is in the deepest water source. If there is people swims around that place he/she will be sink. The dragon also eats the people who have bad/evil character. Usually in the cave if the visitors do something bad/ impolite things they can not go out from the cave. They just move around inside the cave. There are 5 caves in that area and each of the cave are connected."

We only visited 2 caves in Wonosari. Then we asked permission to Iyem's family to go home.
Before we came back to Smg. My dad asked me to go to Kalisuci, Jetis. That is a long river. We can swim in that river and go trough the 3 tunnels. The tunnels has beautiful wall. The water is green. The flow of the river is calm. I and Alfin tried to go along the river using a big tire. In the end of our trip we had to climb the rock with a rope.

What a nice experience I have before married!
